10 Things You Need To Be Doing

Yeah, there's more than 10, but these are a crucial 10. Doing these will put you way ahead of most people. Will it always be like that? Probably not but you are once ahead you can stay ahead of your competitors and that's why you want to do these things. Put simply the guy who does the most usually wins and you want to win. Its business as usual. You want to be found, get seen, be the go to person in your field, be known as the expert so your offline customers go to your website and your online customers tell everyone they know about you. The best way to do this is via syndication. Reaching as many people as fast as you can on there terms, when they want it. It has never been easier and you can be up and running in days, not months or years. Good luck and let us know how to help.

1- Have a direct response website - It's not good enough o have a website. Have a website that is a direct response/education website. What is that? When someone comes to your site you want him or her to be educated and informed. You want them to say…that's what I am looking for. The direct response comes in because you want a direct response from them.

  

2- Capture names and emails via auto responder. If you're not your missing out o what the 'web' is all about. When someone 'opt in' for your free report etc…they are giving you permission den raising the re hand and saying yes, please give me information I want to know more about what you re offering. Then give them your best stuff. It's not just that one particular customer you are helping its everyone they know and who those people know. We are on a 3+ tier deep marketing system…and that's how to do it.

  

3- Bring your offline customers online ---You want to be accustomed to saying to the people you meet, go to my website and download the information or 'I have that info on my site under FAQS. What a time saver for you not having to answer the same info. And of course while there on the site they cam view your other info o and opt in for your compelling offer, call to action etc…

4- Create your brand and information product. This could be a report, eBook etc…what you know on paper so they can read it on the re terms when they want instead o Jamming it down there throat, when everyone's in a hurry. Its what you do that sets you apart form the rest and makes them call you, refer there friends etc…your brand is what you re known for. What are you known for? What's your brand?

5- Educating your assistant, employees and outsourcers about how you want to handle your promotion and marketing. Or at least have someone in charge of this. If you are a landscaper your employees can carry a camera or camcorder (the Flip) and Video what they have done or when a customer says 'this is the best service we have ever see' say, 'do you mind if I get that on video for a testimonial on our website' -- they'll do it…every time. And remember when others start talking about you, the selling for you stops, it's called social proof and there is not much that's more powerful than that.

  

6- Syndicate your content, information and material by using multi media. That's a fancy word for audio, video and text. Did you know that video is really simple to two that these days. Technology has made it that way. Syndicating via RSS makes it to where your customers can consume what you have to offer without leaving the privacy of there own home when they want it. They like it that way. Intimidated by video? You will need to get over that. With video or screen capture you can turn those videos in to an audio and then transcribe the audio into text giving you lots of content and making it available any way your customers want it. If you are really into, having a weekly online show or pod cast and have people subscribe to it…they will if it is interesting, beneficial den useful. Make sure you use RSS feeds on your website so people can subscribe to your updates automatically.

7- Use social media to boost your exposure and show off your expertise. Social media sites like linking, casebook dn twitter are relationship building mini authority website that yours to use. You will need to understand the power of theses sites Dn of course you them properly den not abuse them. These sites are not for spamming and selling but for being you and available to people when y=they need you. There strategies that can be deployed on these sites that allow you to build a good sized following and in some cases there is no better way…oh yeah one other thing for the most part they are free other Ethan your time and effort unless of course you outsource this which can be a good idea.

  

8- If you really want to dominate your market and become the go to guy, the authority, the expert then create lots of content and distribute it accordingly. 9- Send out press release about your business and what you are doing and the newest things happening in your company. Make these compelling, not sales. The media is looking for content and you can use the exposure, traffic and backlinks you can get with press releases.

10- Outsourcing - How will you get this all done. You could hire others, do it yourself or outsource it. It is really hard to all this and certainly not something you will want to do by yourself or at once. This will al take some time. We recommend you outsource the things you cannot and don't like to do and follow a plan for carrying out what you are trying to achieve. Having a set goal and plan is really important to help guide you thru the set up. Once you are up and running its all about adding, value, benefit and information to your readers and customers.
